Just a quick blog~
I’ve been busy sorting things out for my move for the past month or so so I haven’t been blogging…
But!
I’m flying out today in 5 hours or so~ I’ll be arriving tomorrow morning in Tokyo and tomorrow afternoon in Sendai~~
So look forward for proper posts on my life in Japan!

Phillip and I have decided to go on a trip while I’m in Japan this time~ 
At first we decided on Okinawa since it’s summer and perfect for long days at the beach… 
but, when we looked at the flights from Sendai, the prices are ridiculously expensive! 
I know that it will be good service and all that but compared with an Australian domestic flight with Jetstar or something, it’s almost 5 times the price! And it’s only one-way.. 
So yeh, that idea went out the window.. and got replaced with:
A week trip to Kyoto! 
The bus there is sooo much cheaper than the flight to Okinawa, but it is a 10 hour night bus… I expect lots of sore bums and all around the body in general! 
This plan got scraped though since Phil has work cutting the trip short and plus the hotels are double their normal rate on Obon! 
Plus the bus is more expensive too!!
So in the end, we decided to go somewhere nearer instead~ Maybe the next prefecture (Yamagata, Iwate)? Or maybe Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea~~ 
Anyone got any ideas?
As for now I’ll need to learn how to put on a 浴衣 for the 仙台七夕花火祭 that’s on this Friday!

I finally got my ticket all sorted today! At first my card kept declining the payment.. I have no idea why though since I put enough money in my account!
